The location of the hotel is perfect, with many amenities within a short walk. The convenience store near the Rialto bridge, as well as pubs and restaurants, are all easily accessible. Furthermore, the apartment has a beautiful rooftop terrace, providing a stunning view of the Venetian roofs and churches. The host, Andrea, is friendly and supportive, always available on the phone or WhatsApp to assist guests with any concerns.
Some taller guests may find the low ceilings and steep stairs challenging.

The room at Altana San Marco was cozy and comfortable, making me feel right at home. I loved having a kitchenette with a fridge in the apartment, it was so convenient for storing snacks and drinks. The balcony provided a nice space to relax and enjoy the view, and the free WiFi was a bonus.
Personally, I found the flat-screen TV a bit small, but others might still enjoy it.

The apartment was cozy and comfortable, with a nice living room where we could relax after a long day of exploring. The kitchenette, complete with a fridge, allowed us to prepare our own meals, saving us money on dining out. The bedroom was perfect for a good night's sleep, and the air conditioning kept us cool during the hot summer nights. The balcony was a lovely addition, offering a pleasant spot to enjoy morning coffee or evening drinks. Free WiFi was a major plus, allowing us to easily stay connected and plan our next day's adventures.
Personally, I found the flat-screen TV in the bedroom unnecessary, but others might enjoy it.

Two amazing facts about the property: the owner welcoming us at the ferry stop and helping with luggage, and the apartment having everything we needed. The location was excellent, making it easy to find our way back. Plus, the rooftop altana provided the perfect space for enjoying morning sun and evening cocktails.
The low roof timbers were unexpected and led to a few bumped heads, but we quickly got used to ducking down. not a major issue.

We had a great value for our money at Altana San Marco. The room was comfortable and cozy, with a nice warm shower and a comfy bed. The location was perfect, being very close to the Rialto bridge and within a 5-minute walk to the shopping area and convenience store. The staff, especially Andrea, the owner, was accommodating and kind, providing us with travel guidance and being flexible with our check-in and check-out times.
Food for breakfast could have been better.
